Community archiving is a form of collaborative practice in which archivists, historians, and community members work together to document local and community histories and build unique archival collections. Community members are invited to schedule an appointment to bring in up to 10 photographs, documents, or pieces of ephemera to be digitized and to share the stories of the photos for inclusion in the La Mesa History Center’s collection.
