La Mesa History Center partner, the La Mesa Village Association, will host the La Mesa Holiday in the Village event, which will be held on December 2^nd from 12 – 9pm and it will be located in the heart of downtown La Mesa on La Mesa Blvd. between 4^th St. – Spring St.  This is a free event featuring live music, cozy fires, craft vendors, food, holiday photo opportunities including selfies with Santa, and a kids’ area bigger than Santa’s Workshop!.  Visitors can walk the streets of La Mesa’s historic downtown while exploring dozens of local craft vendor stands, then cozy up with artisan and craft food and snack specialties.  Relax with friends and family by the fire pits while enjoying holiday caroling, cheerful holiday music, and fun live entertainment from local schools, clubs and more! Please note that parking around the La Mesa History Center and the McKinney House will be impacted by this event, but we will be open from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for research and tours.
