The La Mesa History Center holds numerous activities during the year. Besides the Annual Home Tour and Silent Movie Night, LMHC’s Annual Meeting is held the first Saturday of May and a Christmas open house at the McKinney House in December.

Annual Christmas Open House |
The first Sunday in December is our annual Christmas Open House at the McKinney House Museum located on University Avenue at Pine Street.
Old-fashioned refreshments, accompanied by music from harpist Kimberly Dodson draws us around a traditionally decorated Christmas Tree as we celebrate the holidays with friends of LMHC .

Silent Movie Night |
The La Mesa History Center in partnership with the Theatre Organ Society of San Diego periodically presents original screenings of silent movie films accompanied by noted organist Russ Peck at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Spring Valley.

May 30th at 10 am on La Mesa Boulevard. Pre-parade band concert begins at 9am.
